Current and former Generations Together staff members Sally Newman, Chris Ward, Tom Smith, Jim McCrea, and Janet Wilson are pleased to announce the publication of Intergenerational Programs: Past, Present and Future.

Published by Taylor & Francis, the book illustrates the relationship between intergenerational theory and practice by combining a rationale for the "intergenerational field" with details about the past, present, and future of intergenerational programs.

The book's authors provide practical information through an analysis of actual intergenerational programs, as well as a summary of current intergenerational evaluation and research. They also address public policy questions related to this growing field, and ideas, questions, and considerations for its future.

An appendix with extensive lists of resources such as organizations, manuals, newsletters, journals, media, and databases will help readers develop their own methods of finding and using intergenerational materials.

Copies of the book can be ordered from Generations Together for $32.00 plus $4.50 S/H. For more information or to place an order, call GT Publications at 412-648-7155 or send your request to:
